Aloe Vera

aloe veraAloe Vera has been used for cuts, bruises, scrapes, poison ivy, burns, constipation, skin care and many more.   It is one plant that many people keep in their home as it is small and easy to care for.  If you don’t have one, ask your friends; if they have one they probably have a baby that they can give you.   If you are looking for a laxative aloe, be sure to get one that lists aloe latex in the ingredients.   *If you don’t have fresh aloe, use bottled aloe gel.  Here’s my recipe for an aloe based poison ivy balm.

Aloe comes in many forms: liquid, gel, capsule, whole leaf (stronger as a laxative), and beauty care.
