chromiumChromium enables the body to absorb glucose into the cells.  Without chromium helping insulin this absorption does not take place and blood sugar rises (diabetes).  It is also important for conditions of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).  Food sources are Kelp, avocado, chard, cabbage, celery and saltwater fish to name a few.
