Copper

copperCopper is an essential trace mineral involved in multiple body functions.  Copper is required for proper iron absorption and is involved in the health of joints.  The copper bracelet for “arthritis” pain in the joints really does help as your body absorbs copper this way.   I know this is true because I used to wear a copper bracelet on my left hand.  One time, I was painting and had on vinyl gloves.  It was warm and my hands were sweating in the gloves.  In my left glove, the sweat was actually orange–or copper colored.  You can be low in copper if you take a lot of zinc or Vitamin C or if you frequently use an antacid.  Food sources are liver, sea food, beans, whole grains and green leafy vegetables to name a few.
