MOTION SICKNESS: The number one remedy for motion sickness is ginger root. Of course, you’re not in a position to brew a cup of tea and may not feel like swallowing a capsule, but I carry ginger caps with me anyway. At the first sign of nausea, I open a capsule and put a little bit on my tongue. This is absorbed immediately and you get the benefits immediately. Ginger taken this way is capable of stopping the muscle contractions that occur when you are going to vomit. And, by the way, it is safe for pregnant women with morning sickness. Another remedy is the Sea Band, a wristband with acupressure points for nausea.
