Vitamin B1 – Thiamin

B1B1 -Thiamin, is essential for energy production especially in the heart and brain.  People with heart disease seem to have lower than normal amounts of thiamin in their body and people with depression find that thiamin is a morale booster (heart & brain).  Food sources of B1 include Brewers yeast, rice bran and wheat germ as well as all nuts and seeds.
