Kidney & Bladder Tea

herb teaKidney & Bladder Tea:  This mint flavored tea contains nature’s antibiotic (echinacea) & a mild diuretic (parsley) to help fight a kidney or bladder infection.  It’s also helpful if you also drink unsweetened cranberry juice (or capsules) & drink plenty of distilled water.  What are symptoms of a kidney & bladder infection?  For me, it’s when I start sleeping through my morning alarm.   With a kidney infection, I am extremely tired; in fact more tired when I get up than when I go to bed.  I also will notice puffiness under my eyes, a lower backache, or cloudiness or an odor to my urine.  I can drink a cup of this tea & the backache is gone in about an hour.  My urine will also increase as my kidneys open up.  Keep your kidneys working because they help get rid of toxins in your body.  If your kidneys don’t work, toxins build up in your body and this brings on disease.  The numbers in front of each herb show the amount, by volume, to use.   To brew, use the number of teabags shown in front of each herb to 2 to 3 cups of boiling water.  Let steep 5 minutes.
