Laryngitis

| March 6, 2013

laryngitisLARYNGITIS:  This is inflammation of the voice box causing hoarseness.  There may be pain and fever with it depending on the cause.  A lot of things can cause laryngitis; allergic reaction, bacterial infection, viral infection, chemical irritation, caustic fumes.  The most common cause would be bacterial or viral and for this you can spray your throat with colloidal silver, which is both antibacterial and antifungal.   You will also want to keep your throat moist and can do this with slippery elm lozenges or honey.  If your throat is sore because of caustic fumes, use the honey as this is very soothing for burns, even chemical burns.  You may also want to do burdock root and lots of water to cleanse the chemical from your body.
