Bragg’s Liquid Aminos is made from soybeans; soybeans are a complete protein source containing all the essential amino acids necessary for human survival – equal in value to animal protein sources. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos is very salty and used much like soy sauce, to season and salt dishes. Unlike soy sauce, it is not fermented so if you are someone who likes to avoid fermented products, this is for you. It does not taste like soy sauce but has its own unique flavor which most people find delicious. When added to soups, stews and sauces, it not only seasons them but also adds a unique undertone of flavor to whatever you’re cooking. I especially like it for cooking hot dishes because it incorporates immediately and you don’t have to wait to taste for additional seasoning.
Here’s a quick use for Bragg’s if you’re cooking and don’t have beef broth on hand say for a soup base or a clear gravy. Measure your water for how much broth or gravy you want and add enough Bragg’s to the water for the saltiness you want. The addition of a TBL of catsup or Worcestershire sauce or even your favorite oil based salad dressing will give it additional flavor. For a clear gravy, thicken with arrowroot or cornstarch. For soup, add to your meat and vegetables.
This is a spray bottle. Great for spraying your whole chicken before roasting.
