oregon-grape-rootOregon Grape Root is not a grape at all but the name sticks because it produces grape like looking fruit.  It is a small perennial shrub native to Western North America.  It has leathery, spiny leaves much like a holly.  Now, we know what it isn’t; what is it?  Oregon Grape Root is rich in alkaloids very like goldenseal which makes it a great natural antibiotic.  It increases the body’s production of  white blood cells, which are your body’s immune fighters.  Oregon Grape Root is good for any infection and has shown very good results against infectious diarrhea such as C. difficile.
