Dulse is a red seaweed that grows on rocks surrounding the shoreline. It can be used whole, granulated or as a powder. I find the powder easiest to use as it incorporates easily with other foods. Think of it as a powerhouse supplement when you add it to your food; you’re only improving the nutrition. It does have a salty taste and can be fishy if used too heavily. It does well in soups, chowders, fish dishes, and even sprinkled on salad.
