castor

Castor oil is produced from the seeds of the castor bean plant. The seeds and leaves are poisonous although the processed oil is free of poisons. That doesn’t make it taste good and that taste is what many people of an older generation might remember. Castor oil was mother’s favorite spring tonic after a long winter of eating preserved food. It is a powerful laxative and mother was making sure you got rid of anything still hanging around. You don’t have to take it internally to get the benefits from castor oil.

It is anti-inflammatory and stimulates the lymph system, which makes it a good internal cleanser. It strengthen the immune system so it is good for any condition from arthritis to acne. It is very good for skin conditions and can be applied directly to the area involved. It will promote healing and leave the skin soft and smooth. Did I mention wrinkles?
